Dear Friends,
Praise and thanksgiving are uppermost in my thoughts as we approach the Joy of welcoming Mark Laynesmith as our parish priest on Monday.
Praise and thanksgiving for the faithfulness of all who have led and guided our worship for the past year
Praise and thanksgiving for all who have served in anyway.
We have continued to build a house
Where love can dwell
And all can safely live
A place where
Saints and children tell
How hearts learn to forgive
We have continued to build a house
Where all God’s children dare to seek
To dream God’s reign anew
Where the cross stands as witness
And a symbol of God’s grace
Here as one we have continued to claim the faith of Jesus
We have continued to build a house
where love is found
In water, wine and wheat
A banquet hall on holy ground
Where peace and justice meet
In everything God has poured out his grace that all
are welcome, all are welcome
All are welcome in this place
We now welcome Mark and his wife Joanna and their sons. May they know that they will continue to be upheld by our prayers and our love.
